En este reestrenado "Houdini", Foster the People imaginan una nueva realidad para el que fue uno de sus primeros hitazos, haciendo esa llamada al "Señor Lobo", que convierta la muerte de la gallina de los huevos de oro en una nueva oportunidad de negocio. El “show bussines” no sabe lo que es dar un paso hacia atrás, así que siempre se puede dar un provisional rodeo, para ganar tiempo y rectificar. Lo verdaderamente importante no es el contenido sino el continente, mientras brille el celofán todo el negocio estará a salvo, así es como funciona este espectáculo de masas preñado de brillantina. La gente no quiere ver a un artista, sino a su propia idealización de ese artista. Y en este caso, entre bromas y chascarrillos, Foster the People nos ponen en la pista de hacia donde se dirige un negocio televisado, que entre hologramas y otros artilugios nos deslumbra a base de mucho espectáculo y focos, con la única intención de que no alcancemos a ver el fondo del escenario, allá donde viven los marionetistas, aquellos que mueven los hilos.
