Miles Kane - First of My Kind

Hace poco que unos amigos estuvimos debatiendo entre latas de cerveza respecto a un post que había publicado sobre Miles Kane, alguno argumentaba que el británico Kane solo tenía un par de canciones y poco más, y seguramente que a primera vista podríamos dar como cierto que su primer disco en solitario es algo irregular; pero si profundizamos un poquito más en el disco, también podría ser cierto que esa irregularidad se deba a lo excesivo de esos dos o tres buenos temas, que en cierta medida ciegan a nuestra percepción, truncando la posibilidad de valorar con imparcialidad la calidad de esos otros temas menos pegadizos. Pero lo que sí es innegable, y dado lo visto, o mejor dicho oído, en este adelanto de su próximo EP, es que parece haber dado con la tecla que fabrica los temas buenos. Así que celebremos el Record Store Day y esperemos que nuestro Miles siga ahondando en esa mezcla de brit y setentas, ataviado con su chaqueta vintage de los domingos y escoltado de ese montón de vientos que consiguen elevar su voz y su verso a la épica de la persecución y de la caza, de la situación ventajosa, del saberse vencedor...
